Pottery & Glass Land ("we", "us") runs this website, potterylandnyc.com, and our studios in Brooklyn, NY. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, email, phone number and how you prefer to be contacted — when you send an inquiry, book a class, register for a program or join a waitlist.
- Participant details — when a parent or guardian registers a child, we ask for things like the child's name, date of birth or grade, and any program details you choose to share (for example, OPWDD funding information) so we can place them correctly.
- Booking details — the classes, dates and options you choose, and any notes you add.
- How you found us — if you arrive from an ad or link with tracking tags (like utm_source), we save that tag with your form so we know which ads work. It's kept only in your browser for that visit and is not used to follow you across other sites.
We don't sell ads on this site, and we don't use third-party advertising cookies on it.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and confirm or manage your booking or registration.
- To contact you by phone, text, WhatsApp or email about your booking, class or program.
- To run our studio — scheduling, attendance and records.
- To understand which of our ads and pages bring people in.
We only send you marketing messages if you've agreed to them, and every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information. It's only shared with our service providers as needed to run our website and deliver messages to you, or if the law requires it.
Our Google Business Profile
Our website reads information, such as our hours, from our own Google Business Profile. No visitor data is sent to Google.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to serve you and keep our business records, and then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we have about you, or to stop contacting you. Just email us at potterylandnyc@gmail.com or call (718) 975-3130.
Children
Our programs for children are booked by a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
